Last year’s matchup between Wisconsin Football and Nebraska was competitive for most of the game, with the Badgers ultimately pulling away from the Cornhuskers in the fourth quarter for a final score of 38-17.
Jonathan Taylor was outstanding for Wisconsin, rushing for 249 yards and two touchdowns, including a 75-yard scamper to the end zone. Taylor’s total rushing yards for the game were the third-most ever allowed by Nebraska to an opponent.
The Wisconsin defense was pretty shaking in the first half, giving up 313 total yards to the Nebraska offense, but the unit was effective in making adjustments at halftime and held the Huskers to a paltry 68 yards in the second half.
