With the 2024 season rolling right around the corner, the preseason watchlists for the top awards in college football are starting to come out, and Wisconsin Badgers safety Hunter Wohler found his name called for one of the most prestigious awards out there.
Wohler was named to the watchlist for the Nagurski Trophy, which is handed to the most outstanding defensive player in college football.
Ahead of the season, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) compiles their list of the top 75 defenders in the country to name to the watchlist, with Wohler fitting the bill alongside some of college football’s heavy hitters.
