Philadelphia — When Howard Moore played at Wisconsin in the early 1990s, he never envisioned a time in which UW would be a fixture in the NCAA Tournament.
"The program was in such a different situation," Moore said Thursday as the Badgers prepare to face Notre Dame in the East Region semifinals at Wells Fargo Arena. "The NIT was quite a feat at the time."
Today it is NCAA or bust.
The seventh-seeded Badgers (22-12), who face Notre Dame (23-11) at 6:27 p.m. Friday, are in the tournament for the 18th consecutive season.
