Wisconsin (11-15, 4-9 Big Ten) finished strong and did not lose the lead for the final ten-plus minutes of its 78-69 win over Illinois on Thursday night. Redshirt junior forward Ethan Happ scored a team-high 27 points, along with grabbing six rebounds and dishing out eight assists in the rare road victory.
Michigan (19-7, 8-5) currently sits in fifth place in the conference after a 61-52 loss at Northwestern on Feb.
