The 2024 NFL preseason has finally started, marking the return of football once again, as a significant amount of players will look to fight for roster spots over the next few weeks before the 53-man cutdown date, which comes at the end of the month.
It also marked the start of the NFL career for former Wisconsin Badgers running back Braelon Allen, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
Allen is competing for the No. 2 role behind starter Breece Hall, and gave a strong first impression on Sunday.
