The Wisconsin Badgers continued their recent hot play with a big 42-7 win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Saturday, pulling off their second straight blowout after beating the Purdue Boilermakers 52-7 last weekend.
It was an outpour from the Badgers, who jumped out to a 14-0 lead at halftime before really finding their groove in the second half, where they outscored Rutgers 28-7.
Offensively, Wisconsin had a day filled with explosives once again as the ground game took over. Tawee Walker had 198 yards and three touchdowns, leading the way for a Badgers attack that totaled 312 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 47 attempts.
