Madison — Micah Kapoi wasn't the most decorated offensive line prospect Wisconsin signed in the winter of 2014.
The Hawaii native was offered scholarships by three schools: Hawaii, Weber State and Wisconsin.
Kapoi was sold on UW after visiting the school with his parents.
"We just wanted to feel out how the people were," Kapoi said earlier this week after practice. "I'm going to be living here for four or five years.
"We loved everything. I knew the football team was going to be good, and I felt welcomed when I was here.
