After a thrilling, controversial NFC Championship Game, former Wisconsin offensive tackle Rob Havenstein and the Los Angeles Rams will play in Super Bowl LIII after a 26-23 overtime win over the New Orleans Saints.
Greg Zuerlein’s 57-yard field goal in the extra frame sealed the opportunity to play for the NFL championship in two weeks. This will be the first Super Bowl appearance for Havenstein, Los Angeles’ starting right tackle, in his four-year career.
The team selected him in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft as the 57th overall pick and recently signed him to a four-year contract extension prior to the 2018 regular season.
