The Wisconsin Badgers lost one of their top underclassmen when sophomore guard Connor Essegian entered the transfer portal last month, moving on with two years of eligibility.
Essegian, who starred as a freshman, scoring 11.7 points per game while hitting 35.9 percent of his threes, saw his role significantly reduced this past year, as his minutes dropped from 27.4 to 7.3 a game.
The reduced role, combined with the lack of a path for playing time next year, led to the 6’4, 200-pound guard transferring, despite being a fan favorite.
Since entering the portal, where has Essegian seen interest?
