Essegian, a 6’4, 200-pound guard from Fort Wayne, Indiana, had a strong freshman year, evolving into a starter and scoring 11.7 points per game, while hitting 35.9 percent of his three-pointers.
However, amid injury woes to start the year, as well as a logjam at the wing spots, Essegian’s role significantly decreased in 2024, as the guard saw his minutes drop from 27.
