Former Wisconsin Badgers 2025 three-star quarterback commit Landyn Locke is headed to Sam Houston State, he announced on Monday.
By making the move, Locke will reunite with former Badgers offensive coordinator Phil Longo, who was his main recruiter at Wisconsin.
The move signifies the end of the three-star’s recruitment, which has taken quite a few turns since Locke committed to the Badgers back in June of 2023 as their first commit in the 2025 class.
The turn of events began late in the season when Longo was fired with two games left, creating a cloud of uncertainty at the quarterback position as nearly every scholarship player in the room was recruited by the offensive coordinator.
