Football: Wisconsin dominates in Lincoln winning Freedom Trophy for fourth straight year

Related Topics: Wisconsin, Troy Fumagalli

It looks as though the University of Wisconsin is getting back into the swing of things after managing to take down the Nebraska Cornhuskers 38-17 during their second road game of the season.

Saturday’s contest saw the return of tight end Troy Fumagalli, who was absent from the field last weekend after sustaining a lower leg injury during the Badger’s bye week. Fumagalli, who is a valuable leader for this team and is one of quarterback Alex Hornibrook’s favorite receivers, managed to garner 31 yards during three receptions during his first game back.

While Wisconsin struggled to keep points off the board during the second half of the game against Northwestern, they showed promising signs that their defense is returning to the same strength they started the season with.
