Following a statement victory against No. 11 Michigan (2-1, 0-1 Big Ten), the Wisconsin Badgers (3-0, 1-0) look to continue their hot start as they host defending Big Ten West champion Northwestern (1-2, 0-1).
In a total team effort, Wisconsin dominated Michigan from the outset of last week’s matchup, rolling to a 28–0 halftime lead. Jonathan Taylor shouldered the offensive load, rushing for over 203 yards and two touchdowns.
Though cramps forced Taylor to ride the bench for most of the second quarter, the offense didn’t lose a beat. Jack Coan was stoic through the air, completing 13 of 16 passes and scampering for 2 touchdowns.
