Wisconsin football announced Feb. 17 the hiring of Marcus Sedberry as the program’s new general manager. Sedberry has been involved in Wisconsin football operations for the past three years as both the deputy athletic director and chief operating officer.
Sedberry spent five years at Baylor from 2017 to 2022 as a senior associate athletics director — dictating the school’s strategic directions in both fundraising and sport-specific projects — before signing on to Wisconsin.
The hiring comes after Wisconsin’s former general manager, Max Stienecker, was poached away Feb. 5 by Big Ten rival USC.
