Saturday’s outcome was not what the Wisconsin Badgers hoped for when they traveled down to face the USC Trojans, as they ultimately lost 38-21, thanks to a rough outing in the second half.
But, the loss wasn’t all bad, as the Badgers had shown some signs of hope in the first half, going up 21-10, as their offense and defense were clicking together simultaneously for the first time this season.
Was that performance what Wisconsin hoped to achieve in the first half?
“It is exactly where we want to be,” head coach Luke Fickell said of his team’s first half performance.
