The Wisconsin Badgers are moving up in the AP Top 25 for the third consecutive week, as they saw a one-spot increase from No. 18 to No. 17, despite going 1-1 this past week.
Wisconsin lost to the UCLA Bruins 85-83 on Tuesday, staying close for much of the game, but failing to finish after slow starts in both halves. That was only their fourth loss of the season, capping off their Los Angeles road trip at 1-1.
Then, they blew out the Nebraska Cornhuskers 83-55 to cap off the week, as they had one of their more consistent games of the year over the final 30 minutes, playing stellar defense, while shooting well offensively for the second game in a row.
