The result: UW manhandled Rutgers for the second consecutive season, this time by a 48-10 margin, in front of a sparse crowd of 74,575.
UW has outscored Rutgers, 85-10, in the two meetings.
Next up for UW (7-2, 4-1) is a road game against Maryland, which was 0-3 in the league and 2-5 overall entering its game later Saturday against Iowa.
