After a slow start, the Wisconsin Badgers stormed back against their arch rival Minnesota Golden Gophers to retain Paul Bunyan’s Axe and stay relevant in the College Football Playoff race.
Sitting at number six, one of the first two teams out of the top four, the Badgers are in dire need of some help if they want to become the first two-loss team to ever make the Playoffs. Unfortunately for Wisconsin, every team that needed to lose this past weekend won.
Every team in front of the Badgers took home a victory this weekend, including the Ohio State Buckeyes, who won a controversial game against Michigan to remain in the Playoff hunt, despite failing to make the conference championship.
