It has been a wild story for Wisconsin Badgers outside linebacker Aaron Witt, who had been with the program but off the field since the 2020 Duke Mayo Bowl until suiting up for last year’s ReliaQuest Bowl against the LSU Tigers.
While him suiting up was more so a formality, the better signs were seen this spring when Witt was out in full-contact and team drills, playing on a pitch count, while predominantly working with the second-team defense at outside linebacker.
When on the field, Witt displayed the tenacity and physicality that many expected of him early on in his career, showcasing his bigger 6’6, 248-pound frame during the process.
