NEW YORK -- Reggie Cameron scored each of his career-high 14 points in the first half and Isaac Copeland had all 15 of his in the second half as Georgetown avoided the worst start in school history with a 71-61 victory over Wisconsin on Friday night in the opening round of the 2K Classic at Madison Square Garden.

The Hoyas (1-2) have never started a season with three straight losses and they didn't this time around thanks to a good defensive effort and other players picking up for D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera, the All-Big East first-team selection.
