Former Wisconsin Badgers running back Braelon Allen is finally off the board, as the New York Jets selected the 19-year-old with the No. 134 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Allen, a three-year running back for the Badgers, accumulated two 1,000-yard seasons while at Wisconsin, while totaling 35 touchdowns over his career in Madison.
By selecting Allen with the No. 134 pick, the Jets reunite the running back with former teammate Joe Tippman, whom New York took in the second round in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Allen now joins top-tier running back Breece Hall in New York as the Jets look to complement quarterback Aaron Rodgers with a strong running game after signing multiple offensive linemen in free agency.
