BREAKING: Badgers QB Braedyn Locke to enter the transfer portal

In a massive development, Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Braedyn Locke is entering the transfer portal, he announced on Wednesday.

Locke, a redshirt sophomore this past season, was the team’s starting quarterback for a majority of the year after starter Tyler Van Dyke suffered a torn ACL on the opening drive of Wisconsin’s Week 3 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Locke started nine games this season, throwing for 1,936 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, while leading the team to a 3-6 record as a starter.

Locke’s accuracy and ball placement were question marks throughout the year, as the quarterback completed just 55.
