Lowery, a rising redshirt senior from Elizabeth, New Jersey, had come to Wisconsin in the offseason hoping for a big year after transferring in from Syracuse.
However, while serving as a full-time starter, Lowery struggled to get going this season, finishing the year with 29 tackles, 11 pressure, and just one sack.
