The Wisconsin Badgers made a splash in the spring transfer portal on Friday, landing a commitment from Missouri State tight end Lance Mason.
Mason was on a visit to Wisconsin earlier this week, and had previously scheduled visits to Cal and Oklahoma as well, but has now committed to the Badgers.
The tight end broke out for Missouri State as a junior, catching 34 passes for 590 yards and six touchdowns in 2024.
That production earned Mason the top-pass catching grade among FCS tight ends, according to PFF, and he’ll now spend his final year of eligibility with the Badgers.
