The Wisconsin Badgers picked up a major victory over the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday, going on the road for a 94-84 win, thanks to a strong second-half effort from the team’s core players.
While Wisconsin had already compiled a strong resume in the Big Ten, a road win over Purdue was the cherry on top, placing the Badgers atop the conference in the AP Top 25 and KenPom to start the week.
Ahead of the game, the Badgers were seen as the No. 12 overall team and a No. 3 seed by the committee, who released their Top 16 projected seeds with a month left in the regular season.
