We’re down to eight teams left in the Big Ten Tournament and by the end of the day Friday four will stand as quarterfinals action commenses today.
The quarterfinals begin with the No. 1 seeded Indiana Hoosiers finally taking the court, playing against the No. 8 seed Michigan Wolverines in the 11 a.m. CT window.
Michigan took down Northwestern in the 8-9 matchup by two points in overtime, advancing to take on the top-seeded Hoosiers, who have been idle since defeating Maryland by 18 points on Sunday afternoon.
The winner will advance to take on the winner of the second quarterfinal matchup, a 12-4 contest between the streaking Illinois Fighting Illini and the Purdue Boilermakers.
