Another day of Big Ten Tournament action is past us and again the upsets continue to pile up. After single-seeds Iowa and Wisconsin fell on Thursday in round two, the quarterfinals saw top Big Ten Tournament seed Indiana fall in the quarterfinals round.
In their opening action of the tournament, the top seeded Hoosiers drew the Michigan Wolverines, who needed overtime the day prior to hold off the ninth-seeded Northwestern Wildcats the day prior.
This time the upset occurred, and the higher seed advanced in a wild finish.
Michigan trailed 66-61 with about two and a half minutes remaining, but tied the game up at 69-69 with 50 seconds left.
