Following the finish of the Big Ten basketball regular season, the bracket is set for the Big Ten Conference Tournament and the Wisconsin Badgers will be a six-seed.
Indiana had secured the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament with a win earlier this week, but the next seven seeds were largely up in the air heading into the weekend’s action.
Michigan State earned the No. 2 seed with a win over Ohio State, and Maryland and Purdue earned the three and four seeds based on the weekend’s play.
That means Indiana, Michigan State, Maryland and Purdue will have double-byes and begin their play in the quarterfinals on Friday, while Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan, Northwestern and Penn State earned single byes and will start play Thursday in the second round.
