The Buckeyes overcame a sluggish start and outscored the Cornhuskers 28-3 in the second half to earn their first win of the season. Quarterback Justin Fields was just too much for Nebraska’s defense, finishing with 276 passing yards, 54 rushing yards, and three total touchdowns (two pass, one rush). Ohio State’s wide receiver duo of Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, who had 104 and 126 receiving yards respectively in Week 1, are going to be an absolute issue for opposing defenses all season.
