Three University of Wisconsin wrestlers advanced to the semifinal round of their respective weight classes at the Michigan State Open on Sunday in East Lansing.
Sophomore Johnny Jimenez reached the semifinals at 125 pounds, where he lost in a fall to Bucknell's ???/ Petrov.
Junior Rylan Lubeck reached the semifinals at 149 pounds, where he lost 11-4 to Central Michigan's Justin Oliver.
Junior TJ Ruschell reached the semifinals at 157 pounds, where he lost 3-2 to Central Michigan's Lucas Smith.
There were no team scores kept for the event at Jenison Field House.
