The University of Wisconsin women's tennis team had no answers for second-ranked Ohio State on Friday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
The Buckeyes moved to 16-2 on the year with a 7-0 victory over the Badgers, who fell to 3-9 and 0-3 in Big Ten play.
"As expected, we knew this was going to be a tough match playing the No. 2 team in the country," UW coach Tina Samara said. "We felt prepared because of the schedule we've faced. I think the teams we've been playing this year have shown the difference is the little things. It's making first serves, making returns, or closing out games or closing out sets.
