EAST LANSING, Mich. – The University of Wisconsin women's tennis team got a glimpse of just how far the program is from competing with top teams in the Big Ten Conference on Friday.
Fifth-ranked Ohio State easily took the doubles point, then rolled to a 4-0 victory against the Badgers in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals.
Ohio State (25-2, 11-0) advanced to face ????? while UW (9-14, 5-6) saw its season end.
“Ohio State is one of the best programs in the country. If we want to compete at this level, we will have to commit ourselves 100 percent moving into next year," UW coach Tina Samara said.
