The University of Wisconsin women’s soccer team learned Monday that it is making a return trip to the NCAA tournament.
The Badgers (13-5-2) will host Toledo (12-7-3) in a first round game at 7 p.m. Friday at the McClimon Soccer Complex.
Wisconsin, which made the tournament last year as well, is making its 20th appearance in the NCAA tourney. The Badgers have a 15-18-2 all-time tournament record.
The Badgers, who advanced to the Big Ten tournament semifinals last week before falling to Northwestern in double overtime, are among five Big Ten schools to make the tournament.
