University of Wisconsin junior Rose Lavelle was named to the U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team for its next training camp.
The team, which will run a training camp in Virginia from May 1-7, consists of 26 collegiate players. Lavelle is one of only two players – along with goalkeeper Jane Campbell – that has previous experience training with the full U.S. Women’s National Team.
Lavelle trained with the U.S. Women’s National Team in January prior to a friendly against Ireland. She was also one of 24 players on the USWNT roster for the Women’s World Cup Victory Tour in December.
