University of Wisconsin junior midfielder Rose Lavelle was named to the U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team roster, U.S. Soccer announced on Tuesday.
Lavelle will travel to Croatia to play three matches in the Istria Cup on March 2-7. She trained with the full U.S. Women's National Team in Los Angeles last month and also spent time training with the USWNT in December during its Victory Tour.
Lavelle is one of eight collegiate players on the U-23 roster. She was the 2015 Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and led the team with 17 points on seven goals and three assists.
