ORLANDO, Fla. -- The University of Wisconsin women’s golf team shaved eight strokes off its prior outing but fell four spots to 12th on Monday at the UCF Challenge.
The Badgers shot a 297 — they had a 305 on Sunday — to sit at 602 total. Missouri (584) leads the 18-team field heading into today’s finale.
Brooke Ferrell, a junior from Edgerton, leads UW with a 5-over 149. She’s tied for 22nd place and eight shots off the lead.
Jessica Reinecke, a freshman from Verona, is one stroke behind Ferrell.
Junior Michelle Cheung (72) had the Badgers’ best round of the day.
