The University of Wisconsin women’s golf team was in 12th place Monday after the second day of the three-day 18-team Silverado Showdown in Napa, California.
The Badgers, who are at 29-over 605 (300-305), trail leader Stanford by 34 shots.
Former Edgerton athlete Brooke Ferrell followed up her opening 74 with a 75 and is tied for 29th place at 5-over 149. Teammates Gabby Curtis (74-78), Michelle Cheung (76-76) and Becky Klongland (76-76) are tied for 48th place. Stanford’s Lauren Kim leads at 139.
