University of Wisconsin junior Brooke Ferrell was named the Big Ten Women's Co-Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Ferrell, who shared the award with Michigan State's Sarah Burnham, was co-medalist at the Westbrook Spring Invitational last weekend. Ferrell, an Edgerton native, shot 5-under par at the tournament in Peoria, Arizona.
It's the second time Ferrell has won the award.
As a sophomore, she was named second team All-Big Ten, the first UW player since Kris Yoo in 2013 to be named all-conference.
