Louisville, Ky. – Junior Brooke Ferrell's record-setting 54-hole score headlined a fourth-place performance for the University of Wisconsin women's golf team at the Cardinal Cup on Tuesday.
The former Edgerton athlete shot a 1-over-par 73 in her final round to finish at 3-under 213 and match the best 54-hole score in the program's history. Her total matched one she set previously as well as four set by others.
Ferrell, the first Badger to win a title since Kimberly Dinh took the crown at the BYU Entrada Classic in 2013, tied for first with Jacqueline Chulya of Columbia.
