Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball head coach Marisa Moseley resigned on Sunday, UW Athletic Director Chris McIntosh announced.
Moseley had gone 47-75 in four losing seasons at Wisconsin, including a poor 21-51 record in Big Ten play, most recently bowing out in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament this past week.
“I notified Chris McIntosh of my decision to resign for personal reasons,” Moseley said in a statement. “It has been a privilege to lead the program at Wisconsin. I am grateful for the student-athletes, coaches and staff in our program who have put in so much time and effort.
