The Wisconsin Badgers will be without Boston College transfer wide receiver Joseph Griffin Jr. for the entire 2024 season, offensive coordinator Phil Longo confirmed on Monday.
Griffin, a junior, did not meet the transfer eligibility requirements when coming from Boston College in the spring portal, which will cause him to miss the entire year, according to a UW spokesperson.
However, Griffin is expected to be available next season and will retain a year of eligibility with the Badgers.
Wisconsin didn’t make make many changes at receiver this offseason, relying on the players in their room as Chimere Dike, Skyler Bell, Keontez Lewis, and Tommy McIntosh all hit the transfer portal.
