AMES, Iowa – After winning the 200 meters on Friday in a personal-best 21.23 seconds, University of Wisconsin men’s track and field junior Lorenzo Larry was back at it again on Saturday at the Iowa State Classic.
Larry won the 60 meters in a personal-best 6.69 seconds at the Lied Recreation Center to cap off a solid weekend for the Badgers.
In the prelims of the 60 meters, Larry clocked the fastest time of the round in 6.73. Hours later, Larry shaved four-hundredths of a second off his time to win the event and to move up the UW top-10 list.
