In a way, the Wisconsin Twilight track and field meet was more of the same for Michael Lihrman.
It resulted in another broken record.
The University of Wisconsin senior set a new school and Big Ten Conference mark Friday night at the McClimon Complex, winning the hammer throw with a 247-foot heave and bettering his own record in both categories by 4 feet.
Fellow UW senior Scott Erickson also set a personal best in the hammer throw, finishing second with a 216-foot, 2-inch effort.
Lihrman wasn't the only UW athlete to set a record, though, as sophomore Jesse Johnson cleared 17-73/4 in the pole vault to set a school record.
