CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Georgia Ellenwood did not disappoint in her first pentathlon of the new year.
The University of Wisconsin sophomore won the track and field event with a personal-best 4,295 points on Friday at the Jack Jennett Invitational.
After just missing a personal best in the 60 hurdles, Ellenwood set personal bests in the high jump, shot put, long jump and 800 meters. The Langley, British Columbia, native just missed the school record of 4,299 points in the event set by Dorcas Akinniyi in 2012.
Casie Pawlik also fared well in her first pentathlon of the indoor campaign, taking 10th with 3,457 points.
