The Wisconsin Badgers are set to host Nebraska Cornhuskers transfer linebacker Mikai Gbayor on an official visit this week, according to a report from 247’s Brian Dohn.
Gbayor, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker, has two years of eligibility left, and finished the season with 49 tackles, six tackles for loss, and a sack, while breaking up three passes.
Gbayor announced his decision after Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White was hired by the Florida State Seminoles, and has received significant interest from Power 4 teams since entering the transfer portal.
The Badgers are set to lose both of their starting linebackers this offseason, as Jake Chaney and Jaheim Thomas are set to explore professional opportunities after their senior seasons.
