The Wisconsin Badgers are preparing for the upcoming season, looking to revamp their defense after the unit had a down year in 2023 while transitioning to a new defensive scheme.
In the offseason, Wisconsin looked to add several players to better fit their system, but retained almost their entire safety room, which was one of their deepest positions a season ago.
Key contributors, such as Hunter Wohler, Austin Brown, Preston Zachman, and Kamo’i Latu, are all back for another season, while younger options, such as Braedyn Moore, are ready to take the next step, leading to a logjam for playing time at safety.
