The University of Wisconsin softball team attracted a huge crowd for final weekend home game of the season, but the Badgers couldn't do much to fire up the home fans.
UW only mustered two hits in five innings against two Nebraska pitchers and fell 9-0 to the Cornhuskers on Sunday afternoon at Goodman Diamond.
The Badgers drew their second-biggest home crowd ever, as 1,612 fans packed the ballpark for Senior Day. The program recognized Megan Tancill, Maria Van Abel and Marissa Mersch, who have been a part of 133 wins, the second-most for a senior class in UW annals.
