University of Wisconsin softball senior Chloe Miller was selected with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2017 National Pro Fastpitch Draft on Monday.
Miller, picked by the Akron Racers, is batting .440 with 41 runs, and a .542 on-base percentage for the Badgers in 2017. She is a two-time NFCA Great Lakes All-Region selection in her career and was named the Big Ten Player of the Week earlier this year.
She is the second player in UW softball history to be drafted in the professional league.
