Sophomore goaltender Caitlyn Clem made a career-high seven saves, but UCLA’s relentless pressure eventually produced a 2-1 non-conference win over the University of Wisconsin women’s soccer team Sunday in Los Angeles.
Clem made five saves in the first half, when the No. 12 Bruins (2-1-0) outshot the No. 13 Badgers (2-2-0) by a 12-4 margin.
Amber Munerlyn’s goal in the 74th minute provided the winning margin.
UW junior Rose Lavelle scored her team-leading third goal of the season in the 31st minute to tie the game at 1.
