The Wisconsin Badgers opened their season with a too-close-for-comfort 28-14 victory over Lance Taylor and the Western Michigan Broncos on Friday night at Camp Randall Stadium.
“It was a test, it was definitely a test... that game came down to the fourth quarter... you got to find a way to create some energy and momentum... it’s not because the ball hit off their leg, but that’s one thing that does happen in the game... and that was the way we created that energy and momentum,” Fickell told reporters.
“You could really feel it shift and roll from there.
